Since 2001, The Fast and the Furious movie franchise has revolutionized car design and street racing. But for those who simply like to indulge in the creativity in the vehicles, here’s Ferrvor’s top 7 list to take you down memory lane with some of the most preeminent and impressive looking cars from the series.
Suki’s Honda S2000
First off, we’re starting with Suki’s Honda S2000 that appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Don’t let the color and the detailed woman on the exterior fool you, because if you can remember, it survived that epic bridge jump.
Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger R/T
Dom’s Dodge Charger R/T, made appearances in both The Fast and the Furious and Fast and Furious. This Detroit muscle definitely has got to be the crowd favorite for it’s overall badassness. And with a character like Dom sporting this vehicle, it’s undeniably the coolest car any of us would love to get our hands on.
Sean Boswell’s 1967 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
The next one on our list reminds us that it’s not about the car, but about the person in the driver’s seat. Sean’s 1967 Chevrolet Monte Carlo isn’t exactly eye appealing at first, but to completely destroy someone in a race by quick maneuvers and skill, is a noteworthy feat. Plus, all the trash talk before the race backs up the vehicle’s value.
Takashi/DK’s Nissan 350Z
The Nissan 350Z, is a car that truly complimented the mischievous character of DK. Although it couldn’t keep up with Brian the second time around in Tokyo Drift, you still get to appreciate the craftsmanship that was put into this all-black masterpiece.
Sean Boswell’s Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII
Sean makes another mark on this list with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII from Tokyo Drift takes the number four spot. Don’t lie. After seeing what this vehicle could do, I’m sure you wanted to attempt drifting yourself. I mean, just look at him as he masters the art of drifting during this race.
Roman Pearce’s Eclipse GTS Spyder & Brian O’Conner’s Eclipse GS
Do you remember the audition race mainly between Roman’s Eclipse GTS Spyder and Brian’s Eclipse GS? You know, the one where Brian daringly drove that green body in reverse while going beyond the speed limit? Yeah, they both had the eye of the tiger during that race. But if you forgot about it, here’s something to make you remember.
These honorable mentions go to the military force from Fast & Furious 6: The Convoy Truck and the Tank. Although they don’t have the same appeal in terms of speed as we’re used to seeing in the series, they do however, carry an excessive amount of fury that is not seen at any other point in the movies.
