Labor day weekend is over, and we’re all unpacking from our last Summer mini vacations. Even though we’re sad the season is ending, there were some pretty noteworthy things that happened around the web this week.


Serena Williams beat her older sister Venus this week and now 2 matches later, she is the US Open Champ. Congrats Serena!


Today, September 11, marks the 14th Anniversary of one of the days our nation will never forget. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and families, along with the heroes who risked their lives on that fateful day.

Apple revealed a cool new 3-D touch feature for the 6s an 6 Plus iphones. The phones are now able to detect force which enables the user to have control over the images on their Retina displays like never before, including shortcut options when pressing and holding icons on the home screen. Apple also disclosed updated technology for the i-Pad and i-Watch.

Wow! An Italian-Chinese medical group of surgeons are in the works to perform the first head transplant. 30 year old, Valery Spiridonov, who suffers from Werdnig-Hoffmann disease , has volunteered for the procedure. The team hopes to perform the operation by 2017.

Daniel Craig is back as Bond. The new Spectre 007 trailer TV spot is out and Bond is globetrotting from Mexico City to Rome.
