Says Erin Hawker, founder of Agentry PR who conceived and produced NYMD for five seasons “The designer wrap contest is an exciting way for Cadillac to showcase NYMD’s fashion designers and demonstrate its commitment menswear brands.”
NYMD will kick off New York Fashion Week today February 1st at Industria Superstudio, 775 Washington Street, in the heart of Greenwich Village.
“We’ve believed in NYMD since day one given its unique take on the traditional fashion show,” says Eneuri Acosta, Lifestyle Communications Manager, Cadillac. “Our partnership with NYMD is part of Cadillac’s deep commitment to supporting both emerging and established designers.”
The brands will present their fall/winter 2016 collection in their own studio spaces designed to highlight their identity and inspiration. There will be six that will take place in the morning and six in the afternoon, so media and buyers can spend time with designers.
Cadillac will be taking over Barbuto restaurant, located on the ground floor of Industria Studios, to open the Cadillac Café for NYMD guests.
If you want to go, the invitation-only café will be open for reservations and walk-ins between NYMD morning and afternoon shows from 12:00PM to 3:30PM.
