Dior has officially recruited Italian designer Maria Grazia Chiuri as their new creative director. The announcement comes after Raf Simons’ unexpected departure from the label last year. This will make Maria the first ever creative director for the luxury French fashion house. Chiuri is currently half of the creative team at Valentino alongside Pier Paolo Piccioli. Dior is set to announce Chiuri’s new role after its couture show this July.
