For years, Facebook has been limited to just one form of acknowledgment for a post, the LIKE button. With the popularity of emojis in text communication, Facebook has created the perfect response to those times where you don’t want to just ‘LIKE’ something. The six new options include: Love, Haha, Yay, Wow, Sad and Angry. When you want to respond to a post or want to show your empathy towards a situation, you can now simply click on whichever emoticon expresses your heart and mind’s desire. As Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg says, “What they really want is the ability to express empathy. Not every moment is a good moment.”
Which one of the six new emoticons expresses your feelings towards Facebook Reactions? We are going to go with ‘Wow.’
