In 1991 John Hennessey purchased a new Mitsubishi 3000GT vr4 to pursue his dream of racing. The rest is history. Staring with his own modifications, Hennessey added power to his vehicles ultimately winning many performance events. Since then, Hennessey Performance has been involved in many exotic upgrades over the years including the first hardtop Viper and the Ford GT to European exotics with his well known 700-hp upgrades to both the Ferrari 458 and McLaren 12C.

We felt you should have a little history on the man and the legend, as we showcase his latest work, the 2015-2016 Ford F-250, Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV. As it’s name suggests, the ‘VelociRaptor’ is something you’d expect to see at Jurassic Park, chasing dinosaurs.
Built with power in mind, this monster of a truck has a 6.2L V8 and whopping 440 hp/880lb-ft torque if you elect the diesel option. You can also opt for a traditional gasoline engine with either the VelociRaptor 600 with Supercharged or VelociRaptor 650 Supercharged, depending on how hungry you are for power.

Built on the base Ford F-250,Lariat Pick-up Truck, the VelociRaptor includes 4 doors, rear cargo doors, a new Middle row captains chair, folding 3rd row bench seats, making that a total of 7 seats with an optional middle row folding center console / seat that allows for seating up to 8.
You’ll also find VelociRaptor wheel and tire upgrades, a VelociRaptor rear bumper upgrade, VelociRaptor LED light bar integrated into the front bumper, a Wam front winch, O-raod suspension upgrade, VelociRaptor SUV exterior badges a numbered dash plaque and engine bay plaque.
