Giorgio Moroder, unquestionably one of the earliest dance music legends, is on the verge of his newest album; 74 is the New 24. He gives us a taste with his newest single “Right Here, Right Now.”
The first single released from his upcoming album, “Right Here, Right Now,” has just surfaced and it features pop star Kylie Minogue. The two worked together on the single which stays true to his original work, with the synths setting the mood and the bass driving the beat along. All that and the electric vocals from Kylie Minogue takes it home. If the new album sounds remotely similar to the first single, we will be ecstatic.
Even though this is his first album in quite sometime, Georgio Moroder has kept his finger on the pulse and has been making some big noise in the electronic world, as of late working with Daft Punk on their hit album, Random Access Memories and releasing remixes, including a true Moroder rework of Coldplay’s hit single, “Midnight.” The new album is set to have an exciting featured vocalist lineup consisting of everyone from: Britney Spears, Mikky Ekko, Sia, Charli XCX, Foxes, to Matthew Koma.
Stay tuned for this sure to be massive 2015 release 74 is the New 24, and prepare to be mesmerized once again by Giorgio’s undeniable sound.
