A brand’s heritage is often the backbone to what creates the most timeless pieces in every collection. It’s what makes every label unique. Led by Creative Director, Kris Van Assche, the Dior Homme Fall 2015 Collection, takes inspiration from it’s vintage self.
Dior offers us a new casual twist on the collegiate man. Showcasing it’s range in fabric and color, classic blazers with a C.D. initialed pin, pays homage to the brand’s founder Christian Dior. Vintage varsity sweaters get a modern makeover with orange and cream colors combined with luxury fabrics.
The number “47” is found throughout the collection, which was a landmark year for the brand as they held their first haute couture fashion show in 1947. Perfectly tailored trousers are paired with an array of sweaters in prints that would make any Ivy Leaguer jealous. Timeless pieces are reinvented by adding leather and Dior inspired patches.
The entire collection is kept in a simple silhouette and fit, and completed with printed shirting and easy denim. It’s easy to see the classic pieces that made Dior a powerhouse, come to life within the collection. A collegiate touch and masculinity throughout the collection make it top of the class.
There’s no doubt, Dior Homme Fall 2015 Collection will be a hit with every Ferrvor Man.
