Revealed at the 2015 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, Henrik Fisker bestowed up on us this heavenly gift he calls the Thunderbolt.
Designed as a GT coupe, the Thunderbolt is Fisker’s idea of what the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish could look like. With the incorporation of trilateral designs for an exterior that literally sculpts the air, an exquisitely detailed aluminum grill and a panoramic dark tint glass roof, the Thunderbolt will make you feel more like you’re a shadow in the wind then behind the wheels of a car. Both head and backlights resemble that of a double-edged sword: sharp, sleek, and searing. The dashboard resembles that of a Skeleton chronograph, which is detailed and stylized by watchmaker Maurice Lacroix, and is highlighted with the finest trimmed leather from Natuzzi.
The Thunderbolt also features the Panasonic 11.6-inch Curved Control Screen, and is the world’s first vehicle to utilize the technology. Not only does it reduce reflection and glare, but you’ll also have the capabilities of adjusting the screen to your height preference.
Another well thought out and unique feature, is a wine holder. Drinking and driving is not condoned, but the idea of transporting up to two bottles of wine or champagne to your best friend’s wedding, a family gathering, or exclusive party, just become that much easier.
Although this beauty is not officially affiliated with Aston Martin, it was decided that a limited number of models are to be made on a special order basis, exclusively available through Galpin Aston Martin. Put your order in now and their will be a good chance that you will be the only one in your area to own it.
Don’t sleep on this Thunderbolt gents; but then again, how can you sleep during a thunderstorm?
