The holiday season is nothing short of plentiful; The parties, the food, the drinks, the people, you name it. To help you stay on track, our very own Ferrvor Man, celebrity-trainer Todd “TMAC” McCullough has got you covered with 5 tips to stay healthy and fit.
1. Walk -n-Talk!!
Unless you are a robot and you don’t like the holidays, your diet is going to suffer a bit during the holiday season. Make an effort to go for a walk after each meal. Can you imagine how great you feel if you pick three family members each day and went for a walk with them. I have found this to be one of the most rewarding times for me during the holidays. It gives you and your loved a time to really connect in the midst of the “chaos” of the holidays.
2. 90/10 Rule.
Make and effort to fill your plate with 90% healthy food. Turkey/Veggies/etc and allow a bit of room for a treat. Extra credit if you eat some sweet potatoes or yams to help with the sweet cravings!
3. Workout First!

Drink 2-3 large glasses of water before you eat. This will help you feel, full thus eating less!! Tricks of the trade.
We live in constant stress. Work, relationships, and not to mention social media. The holiday season is the perfect time to reflect and set goals for the upcoming year. Turn off your gadgets. Take that long walk that I mentioned above and do some soul searching.
