Like many Hollywood actors fresh off the boat, Griffo started his career as an extra, working hard, making appearances in 2011 on shows like, Bucket & Skinners Epic Adventures and Kickin’ It. Most recently, Griffo has guest starred in season 7 finale of NCIS: Los Angeles as a military cadet named McKenna and in the Syfy Original movie, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

What you may not know about Griffo, is that he’s also an avid music fan and a singer in his own right with songs and videos all over Youtube, some even surpassing 4 million views, including a song he wrote called “Slingshot” from the Nickelodeon movie “Jinxed” with more than 2 million views. With more surprises in his future, after the shoot we got a chance to sit down with Mr. Griffo and discover more insights into who the real Jack Griffo truly is.

FM: Can you describe who Jack Griffo is in one sentence?
JG: Jack Griffo is that kid you saw on T.V. all the time, while babysitting your neighbor’s children.

FM: What’s your definition of a real hero?
JG: Someone with the best interest of others in mind instead of just themselves.

FM:  We ask many of our Ferrvor Men their definition of what it means to be a Gentleman. What’s your take on being a gentleman?
JG: To me being a gentleman is pretty much treating ladies like they are your future wife. With the most love and respect possible.

FM: What song and artist sum up your life now?
JG: I have been listening to Coloring Book by Chance the Rapper and Blond by Frank Ocean.

FM:  If we get to spend a day with you, what would we be doing?
JG: Probably working on the Thundermans, working on some other material, or just relaxing with my buddies.

FM: Can you tell us about the sweetest fan encounter experience you’ve had?
JG: Getting art is always very sweet.

FM:  What does the word LOVE meant to you?
JG: Love is like that word that cannot really be described, only felt. But when you feel it you can recognize it for what it is and how amazing it can be.

FM:  We’ve noticed you seem to have caught a travel bug lately, what’s your dream destination?
JG: I have always had an obsession with the South Pacific—Bora Bora or someplace like that.

FM:  How did you get started in the crazy world of “Hollywood”?
JG: I moved here when I was 13 and got a meeting at an agency and the rest is history!

FM:   The term “Young Hollywood” has been floating around for many years. What’s your definition of young Hollywood today?
JG: The up and comers. The folks that are really going to make an impact one day.

FM:  If not acting what would be your dream career path?
JG: Probably something in entertainment. If I did not act I would probably just work behind the camera.

FM:  Who would you take for an adventure across the seven seas and why?
JG: My family! I think that would be the best because there are a lot of us, so we do not really spend much time together as much as we would like.

FM:  What’s up next in the near horizon for Jack Griffo?
JG: Season 4 of The Thundermans and possibly some side projects throughout!

FM:  Any last words before we say goodbye today?
JG: Just a thanks to everyone that watches the show or has supported me independently. It is amazing to grow with you guys and keep making cool stuff.

I’m sure your fans will appreciate that. And so with that, the interview wrapped and Jack made his way out of Ferrvor studio’s.
