The new three part documentary recalls how the 501 jean became apart of history it self and helped catapult the Levis brand into a pop culture phenomenon. Featuring interviews and stories from artist, designers, and influencers like artist John Baldesarri who says, “Wearing levis was an act of rebellion”. Narrated by folk musician Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, the film shows a side of the brand that most had no idea existed. Starting with part one, it first recalls how they began as uniforms for coal miners and workers. Part one will be released March 16.
