The EPO e-bike is perfect for the Ferrvor man who wants an alternative mode of transportation to work or just leisure time on his days off. Maxwell’s founder has earned himself a Guinness World Record for a 4400 mile, 30 day solo journey and has since embarked on a new endeavor of creating an affordable electronic bike.
Maxwell Motorbikes recently launched their Kickstarter in hopes of gaining enough funding to allow early backers to obtain the bike for the value price tag of $1300.
This will virtually be the lightest electronic bike out, starting at a mere 25 pounds. EPO e-bikes are very quiet even when reaching up to 20 miles per hour. It takes 45 minutes to charge and they are equipped to last for a 10 to 15 mile range. The battery pack is located in the main frame of the bike and motor is in the front wheel.
The motor can also be switched off to enjoy riding the conventional way. The EPO has the shape and appearance of a regular bicycle making it compatible with normal bike accessories.
