McLaren celebrates their legendary 1995 win at 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the limited edition McLaren 650S Le Mans.
Le Mans, France has long held the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans, endurance race yearly since 1923. Race enthusiasts from all around the world gather together to watch some of the finest of the best compete in one of the longest active endurance car races in the world. In 1995, the McLaren F1 GTR road car beat the odds and took first place, affirming the British car make’s place in race history.
Inspired by the vehicle that set the stage 20 years ago, it will blend a metallic Sarthe Grey exterior, custom Le Mans Edition wheels (19in front wheels and 20in back wheels to be exact), and the aesthetics of the original McLaren F1 GTR with a fully integrated, roof-mounted snorkel air intake, allowing airflow into the traditional, 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine. That’s 0-62 mph in 3 seconds, and a top speed of 207mph. Carbon fiber materials on the front and rear end of the McLaren model, add a lightweight touch. And to make it even more tempting, 2015 will bring only 50-limited edition coupe models to existence.
The beautiful, comfortable interior comes in black leather and Alcantara with orange accents added to the seats. No McLaren 650S Le Mans, would be complete without the custom Le Mans logo on each headrest and floor mats.
