Who would have thought these pint size characters would leap off the silver screen and into the fashion scene? They were first introduced to the world in the 2010 movie, Despicable Me. After a sequel and their own self-titled movie, they have collaborated with some of fashion’s elite. If having your own Pantone shade, coined Minion Yellow and Vogue cover wasn’t enough; the minions were the inspiration for a 60’s mod collection by designer, Giles Deacon and a collection by Rupert Sanderson.
Stylight.co.uk has further pushed the yellow envelope by giving big fashion’s big contenders a “minion makeover” and perfectly captured the style and personality of the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gautier, and Marc Jacobs.
