It has class, history, style, and it’s all electric. What is it?! It is the 2015 Renovo Coupe.
In late 2014 Renovo introduced their first all-electric super car. With the help of Shelby designer Peter Brock, Renovo was able to reimagine the Le Mans award winning 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. I know Ferrvor Man, you must be thinking, how can electric car compare? Well my friends, I am here to tell you that the Renovo Coupe is one impressive machine.
The 500 horse power cockpit is designed and powered by NVIDIA Tegra® X1 mobile super chip which includes a 11.6 in touchscreen center stack. If that hasn’t caught your attention then I’m certain this will.
The electric muscle car is built on genuine factory-modified Shelby CSX9000 chassis with a Twin Sequential Axial Flux motor and a Renovo HVP 740 volt lithium ion battery pack. The transmission is a single gear, direct drive which can touch 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. Along with 1000ft-lb of torque, this beast hits top speeds well over 120mph, and can come to a complete stop in 37 milliseconds. In addition to the impressive specs, the Coupe has a 30 min fast charge and a level 2 full charge in 5 hours that can have you back on the road in no time.
The Silicone Valley’s four year secret project will be going into limited production early this year.
