Rolls Royce Gets Stealthy with the limited edition Phantom Drophead Coupé Nightwalk.
There couldn’t have been a bigger stage than to be revealed during Super Bowl XLIX weekend in Phoenix, AZ. Inspired by the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk fighter jet, the first of its kind in military aircrafts designed with stealth technology, the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Nightwalk will be limited to 9 units worldwide. So what makes this new model so ‘stealthy’? Let’s take a look.
It’s undeniable that a Rolls Royce is a head turner, with it’s shiny chrome grill and distinct logo, but the Nighthawk’s rich Diamond Black Metallic paint and Matte Diamond Black hood, screams a new kind of intensity, covert and sleek. Wrapped under the hood is a 6.750liter V12 engine creating a mean 454 horsepower, reaching 0 to 60 in 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 150 mph.
Carbon fiber panels are laid out throughout the dash, including the center and speedometer consoles. Hotspur red trims, on black full-grain leather, highlight the interior adding a new touch to the historic, British luxury automobile brand. Orange lights pave the interior bring are reminiscent of airplane cockpit lighting.
The Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Nightwalk, is a “modern materials and subtle color to create a new contemporary interpretation of a classic Rolls-Royce motor car.”
