Bartender, another round please? This year’s 2015 Chanel Fall/Winter Ready-To-Wear show left us salivating, and it wasn’t just from the buttered croissants.
Set in a French-style bistro, surrounded by bartenders and waiters, Lagerfeld transported us into a delightful world where grace and elegance were at the top of the menu. Influenced by the bistro itself and the society that regularly inhabits them, we were given a tour of beautifully crafted garments embodied by every class of the French population. Even though the show focused on women’s wear, we were still introduced to a few stand out menswear pieces.

The mosaic tiles used to pave the bistro floors also gave inspiration for print. Turtle neck sweaters and cardigans in full mosaic print were paired perfectly with wide leg trousers. The men of the show looked like elegant Parisians wearing seersucker pants and black oxford shoes, with each of them in full trend mode. Bomber Jackets and turtle necks were the center piece of each outfit along with darker tones of blues and reds that were shared within each piece.

Using pieces from the collection like the wide-leg trousers and mosaic print cardigans, every man can implement the beautifully crafted pieces to fit his everyman routine.
