Ben and James reign from NYC’s Chinatown District, but will no longer be limited to The Big Apple. So far this summer they’ve released their hit single, “Classic,” featuring Powers, and also released a remix of the track featuring rising rapper, Fetty Wap. If your able to land Fetty Wap on any track in 2015, it is almost guaranteed that your song’s potential is limitless, and the “Classic (Remix)” has definitely risen up the charts and hit many summer playlists.
On top of those features, The Knocks have worked with St. Lucia, Gary Go, Kardinal Offishall, and Matthew Koma. The duo has expanded from their early hip-hop days, to a crossover blend of EDM, pop, and hip hop. Their newest track, “I Wish (My Taylor Swift),” features vocals from Matthew Koma, who is fresh off his features with Hardwell, Tiesto, Zedd, Alesso and RAC. Not only will pop fans, or the duo’s original hip-hop fans enjoy this track, but any fans of the aforementioned DJs will take a listen and quickly find a liking in Koma’s vocals once again.
Whether its an original track, or one of the duo’s Soundcloud remixes, there is something for everyone to enjoy in the catalogue of The Knocks, and we’re excited to see where they take their career next.
