Smart and JBL Audio team up to create a collaboration of small proportions and magnified sound. They call it the world’s smallest mobile concert hall, and that may be true with the punch this smart fortwo packs.
It started off as an experiment just to see what kind of sound experience would be produced from the tiny coupé paired along with some of the best quality knock in audio. Sixteen speakers, five amplifiers, two subs, 5720 watts and 150 decibels of pure sound and entertainment.
With detailed and intricate engineering, the team behind the project carefully installed the speakers into the vehicle doors, dashes, and rear compartments. Extra padding was needed to insulate sound to avoid the panels from rattling.
This car is designed to entertain to the max. So you can put away your portable speakers and boom boxes (Do they still make those?) because the mobile amplifier makes it the perfect output for street performers.
Be on the lookout for the concert on wheels this summer as it tours through Europe.
