If you’ve ever had a desire to check out a cool museum atop a 7400 ft mountain peak, we have your new art hangout.
After some skiing at one of the 32 lifts at South Tyrol’s well known ski resort hop on over to the Messner Mountain Museum Corones.
Surrounded by alpine peaks of the Zillertal, Ortler and Dolomites and aptly established by renowned climber Reinhold Messner, the sixth and final Messner Mountain Museum explores the traditions, history and discipline of mountaineering.
Then when you’re done you can check out Kronplatz for it’s famous, unique events like live concerts by world-famous stars like Zucchero, race cycling with the Giro d’Italia athletes, or test drive a Ferrari and much more.
The Messner Mountain Museum Corones is open every day from 10 am to 4 pm.
