Fashion is an unspoken language that connects and unites the world together. Fashion Power House, Valentino has done their part in doing that with their Spring and Summer 2016 collection which combines a worldly view with everything from Asian to Native American influences.
Globetrotters met at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild to see Valentino ignite the runway with very wordly fashion pieces. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli presented a collection of travel couture. The multicultural collection featured pieces that are for casual everyday wear.
Many cultures were represented and fused together. Thermal printed Hawaiian shirts gave the show a 1940’s feel, while souvenir jackets paired with Japanese style denim and slip-ons added an Asian feel. Other features include Spanish sandals and Native American jewelry, with iconic camo print jackets and button ups added military flavor. Add to all that leaping unicorns and dragons creating an ethereal cultural sensation not to be missed.
The accessories helped tie everything together and what better way then with musical inspired pieces like guitar straps on backpacks and shoes. Other gear included leather fanny packs and Native style printed camo totes.
Whether you’re a world traveler or a homebody, Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection will take you on a journey around the world.
